Our mission is to support and provide education and resources to the business people of Martha's Vineyard. MVWN is a forum for an exchange of business ideas and the promotion of economic development for members and the Vineyard community.
MVWN is a professional business network committed to:

HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR MVWN MEMBERSHIP
1. Use your website listing for the most productivity
Understand the importance of keywords and key phrases. Keywords and key phrases are the words and phrases people type into search engines when they are looking for information. Within your 50 word business description be sure to use key words that will target the audience you are looking to attract. MVWN has already embedded “Martha’s Vineyard” throughout the web site to help in searches particular to Vineyard interest.
2. Add your photo to the "Meet a Member" Section on the MVWN homepage
Member photos are rotated to appear when the MVWN web site home page is opened. The brief introduction is linked directly to your directory listing. Send your photo as a separate attachment to info@mvwomensnetwork.org. All photos should be in a .jpeg format.
3. Send us your business news and announcements
MVWN will distribute a quarterly ENEWS-letter to over 800 island business women and all local and regional media contacts. If you would like your news reported, e-mail it to info@mvwomensnetwork.org.
4. Add your promotional materials to the resource table at meetings
There is a Resource Table at every program and networking event. Members are encouraged to display their business cards, brochures, flyers or other related materials.
5. Take advantage of or provide special offers to MVWN members.
Promote your business to the MVWN membership by offering special incentives to them and as a member, take advantage of the special offers target just to you. Special promotions are listed in the quarterly ENEWS-letter and on the MVWN web site’s “ABOUT US” page.
6. Advertise through MVWN's constant contact distribution
MVWN members can take advantage of the broad reach of the MVWN e-mail list of over 800 island business women and all local and regional media contacts through paid E-NOUNCEMENT. For a nominal cost of $100.00 your E-NOUNCEMENT will be sent out to two times. A two week notice is required, you provide copy and any graphics/photos. All graphics and photos should be in .jpeg format – no more than 100 KB. Please complete the advertising form and return to info@mvwomensnetwork.org with your advertising materials.
7. Sponsor a MVWN Program, networking event of workshop
By helping to underwrite MVWN costs you’ll be securing the quality of future programming and spotlighting your business as well. A separate sponsorship sheet is included in your membership kit.
